            When Ron and I first decided that our mortgage was more then we could handle and we had exhausted all of our possibilities with our mortgage company, we had no choice but to short sell our house.

            Ron had been speaking with just about everyone in the mortgage and real estate industry he could think of to try and save our house but we had no success. As a last resort Ron had seen an advertisement for Stefani & Associates and the contact person was Marshall Carrasco. Well, we figured we had nothing to lose, so we called and set up an appointment to meet with him to discuss our options. On our first meeting, we had told him everything that had happened and asked him for his advice. Marshall assured us that we werent the only ones in this situation, and that he would try very hard to work out a loan modification with our mortgage company and if that didnt work, then he would try to short sell our house. After several months of his hard work trying to negotiate with our lenders, it became clear that we had to short sell our house.

            At that point, we knew that we made the right decision in choosing Marshall to handle our short sell. He had worked tirelessly trying to get this done. He had always been up front and honest with us in where we stood and who was looking at our house. He has always made sure that other realtors who were showing clients in our area stopped by and looked at our house. Just when he and we were ready to give up, he would regroup and try again. It was a long 6 months for Marshall, but in the end, he got several offers on our house. But, he didnt stop there. He negotiated wit hour mortgage companies and got them to agree on a settlement and even got them to guarantee that they would not come after us afterwards.

            Marshall is the most honest, hard working individual we have met in a long time. He truly is the best person to handle our situation. He is by far the best thing that could have happened to Stefani & associates. If it werent for Marshall, we wouldnt have stayed at Stefani & Assocites. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who has challenging loans and circumstances. He really does go further then the job description to make sure everything gets done, not only timely but also with documentation and guarantees.

            Marshall, we thank you so much for everything and all of your hard work. Without you, we wouldnt have been able to do this. If you need a reference, please have anyone call us and we will tell him or get her how great you are!
